Fansites/Shrines:
This is my shrine to the CloudxYuffie pairing of Final Fantasy VII. I fell in love with this pairing many years ago and made a tiny little site devoted to it in the summer of 2002 (it was the first site on this domain!), marking the first English fansite for the pairing. Over the past four years, it has grown into a large shrine housing a huge fanfiction archive, plenty of fanart, information, essays, icons, and doujinshi scans. It is my proudest accomplishment on the web. This site also features the Fanlisting approved by thefanlistings.org! Go join!
This is my shrine to the Balthier/Penelo pairing of Final Fantasy XII. This pairing grabbed me by the heart from the very beginning, and after getting approved for the fanlisting, I decided I had to make a full-on shrine for them! The shrine includes fanfiction, fanart, icons, wallpapers, image manipulations, and a screenshot gallery. And the content is growing day by day, as more people get drawn into this adorable pairing. This site includes the Fanlisting approved by thefanlistings.org!
Fanlistings:
All fanlistings have been approved by thefanlistings.org!
This is the fanlisting for the character Locke Cole of the video game Final Fantasy VI. Locke was my first love of gaming, and remains my all-time favorite male video game character. It's hard to explain exactly what his appeal is (although I try on the fanlisting), but it's very hard NOT to like this character. I've yet to meet a single Locke hater. This fanlisting was at the very top of my "kill for" list, so I was shocked beyond belief when I got it. Please join if you like Locke at all. He deserves a huge fanlisting! Extra content includes essays, icons/avatars, and a links list.
This is the fanlisting for the relationship between Cecil and Rosa of the video game Final Fantasy IV. The romance between these two characters is what initially drew me to the Final Fantasy series in the first place, and even today it remains one of the most touching, poignant, yet overall simple relationships in all of Final Fantasy. I was really surprised that no one had this fanlisting, and I think it's truly sad that I could get it so easily. FFIV fanlistings should be more sought after! Heck, FFIV should just be more popular in general. Extra content includes icons.
This is the fanlisting for the relationship between Leon S. Kennedy and Ada Wong of the video game series Resident Evil. I don't know if anyone had this fl before I got it. This seems likely (though I don't remember having to wait until it appeared on the updates page as being closed) because a couple of people told me afterward that they had also applied for it when I did. No idea why they gave it to me, as I had crappy html skills at the time. XD Anyway, I became interested in the idea of Leon/Ada before even playing Resident Evil 2 (I read the little instruction manual and thought "Hey, they'd make a cute couple!"). Then I actually played the game and fell head over heels for them. I made the fanlisting before playing RE4, and while I found their interaction in that game to be cute, I still think RE2 is far superior in all ways (particularly in the case of the Leon/Ada relationship). Extra content includes some rather detailed character bios and an essay (for now).
This is the fanlisting for the Raccoon City Police Department of the video game series Resident Evil. The RPD is a huge part of the Resident Evil storyline and gameplay. RE just isn't RE without the RPD! I was approved for this on April Fool's day. I almost thought it was a prank. o.o
This is the fanlisting for the relationship between Sora and Roxas of the video game Kingdom Hearts II. This is my second favorite KH pairing behind Axel/Roxas, so I was absolutely thrilled when I got approved for it. Sora and Roxas are technically the same person, but different enough to be separate characters. Therefore, they're pairable. XD It's worth visiting the fanlisting just to see the gorgeous fanart I was graciously allowed to use. :D
This is the fanlisting for Sora's Valor Drive Form from the video game Kingdom Hearts II. I used Valor form constantly and used every other form once each, just to check them out. Valor form was just so much more useful to me personally, and fit very well with my playing style (absolutely no magic ever and lots of hacking and slashing). And, as others have noted, Sora is freakin' hot in red.
